CW: Sts will read pp 42-44, while T explains and asks different questions about the reading. Then Sts will answer the following questions in their NB:

  1. What kinds of facts did Maurant look for in the "Smart, Cool and on the Air" interview?
  2. How does Maurant try to keep her audience in mind as she writes?
  3. What does Maurant see as the purpose of the lead?
  4. Describe how Maurant and Lupo review the story before printing
