Buenas noches chicos, les recuerdo que para la semana que viene es necesario que tenga una cuenta de google o gmail. Ya que con esa cuenta serán evaluadas la mayoria de las actividades en clase. Por favor configuren la cuenta para que NO sea necesario un número telefónico para poder iniciar sesión en las computadoras del colegio. Feliz noche.

3rd TERM 1st HALF WEEK April 22 nd  to 26 th  2019 Unit 4. Narrative Writing - Narrative Writing in the real world CW:    Sts will read, aloud, taking turns,  pp. 152 to 154, while T. explains doubts .  Sts will do activity "Analyzing The Media Connection" on p. 155  in their NB, working in pairs . 

3rd TERM WEEK April 22 nd  to 26 th  2019  Lesson 25:   Prefixes  uni ,  mono ,  bi ,  tri , and  mid CW:      Sts wil take turns reading "Barnstorming" on p. 101 aloud, while T. explains unknown phrases and vocabulary through pictures. Then T. will read List Words and Sts. will repeat. After, Sts will do exercises on pp. 102-104

3rd Term WEEK April 22 nd  to 26 th  2019  1st Year "A" - Monday 1st Year "B" - Friday 1st Year "C" - Monday  Unit 12. Adjectives and Adverbs. Lesson 12.1: Adjectives. Lesson 12.2: Articles and Proper Adjectives Sts will read pp. 451 and 453 aloud and taking turns while T explains through examples on the board. Then they will do exercises: Orally: Ex 1 (1-10); Ex 2 (1-5); Ex 3 (1-15); Ex 4 (1-15); Ex 5 (1-10) CW:  Written (only answers): Ex 1 (11-20); Ex 2 (6-10); Ex 3 (16-20) HW:   p. 454 Ex 4 (11-20); Ex 5 (11-20) due next class

Descriptive Writing - Literature Model: "The Gathering" CW:    Sts will read, aloud, taking turns,  excerpt from the book "The Gathering" by Virginia Hamilton, pp. 142 to 147, while T. explains doubts through drawings on the board.  Sts will do activity on p. 148  in their NB . 

WEEK April 8 th  to 12 th  2019  Test on  Lesson 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23 

2nd TERM 2nd HALF WEEK April 1 st  to 5 th  2019  Lesson 22:  Prefixes  em ,  en ,  fore ,  post , and  over Lesson 23:  Prefixes  anti ,  counter ,  super ,  sub ,  ultra ,  trans , and  mis CW:      Sts wil take turns reading "The Molasses Flood" on p. 89 aloud, as well as “It’s a Small World”on p. 93. 2nd TERM 2nd HALF WEEK April 1 st  to 5 th  2019 Unit 3. Lesson 3.5:  "Describing a Person"     Lesson 3.6:  "Relating a Poem to Your Experience" CW:    Sts will read, aloud, taking turns,  Lesson 3.5 “ Describing a Person ” (pp. 130-132), Lesson 3.6 “Relating a Poem to Your Experience” (pp. 134-136). Teacher will explain any doubts.  Sts will do activity  in their NB .  Sts will write a Character description: Write a description of the shoemaker in the painting. Use details that show the reader who this shoemaker is: who he looks and how he acts.

Pronouns.    Lesson 11.7  Interrogative Pronouns  T. will review lessons 11.1 to 11.6.  Sts will take turns reading p. 441 aloud while teacher explains. Buenas tardes. Quiero recordar a todos los alumnos que deben entregar, ente mañana y el jueves, el ejercicio evaluado, colocado en este blog, y que tendrá una ponderación de 10% en el plan de evaluación. Gracias.

Hola mis amores; :                   Como debemos aprovechar al máximo las posibles inasistencias al col, vamos a ver este video de Romero Brito artista cubista basado como bien saben en las figuras geométricas planas. Tarea:  Hacer una obra como la mostrada en el video de la semana anterior pero tienen que utilizar  la cara de un dragón escogido por cada uno de ustedes. Recuerden la figura central es grande. Los recursos que usa Romero Brito son marcadores de colores gruesos y al terminar de colorear remarca todo con marcador negro grueso. Si no tienen marcadores de colores gruesos utilicen colores AFINCADOS. RECUERDEN: Aprovechar el tiempo para crecer, aprender, compartir y ser cada día mejor.
